Definitions of topics realated to the research
AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a set of technologies that enable computers to perform a variety of advanced functions, including the ability to see, understand and translate spoken and written language, analyze data, make recommendations, and more. (source)
GenAI
Generative AI or generative artificial intelligence refers to the use of AI to create new content, like text, images, music, audio, and videos. Generative AI is powered by foundation models (large AI models) that can multi-task and perform out-of-the-box tasks, including summarization, Q&A, classification, and more. Plus, with minimal training required, foundation models can be adapted for targeted use cases with very little example data. (source)
LLM
LLM: Large Language Model Definition: Large language models (LLMs) are a type of artificial intelligence trained on large datasets of text and code. They can understand, process, and generate human-like text for various tasks. (source)
Examples: AI systems like ChatGPT, and Google's Gemini, are powered by LLMs
ANN
An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is a computational model inspired by the structure and functioning of the human brain. It consists of a network of interconnected nodes, called artificial neurons, that process input information and generate an output. (source)
Interface
The term “interface” appears to have been borrowed from chemistry, where it means “a surface forming a common boundary of two bodies, spaces, phases.” (source)
