BACKGROUND 

“Smarter Ai” is a Software-Defined AI Cameras which require unique AI models and 

programming created by the company named, “AnyConnect”. It enables any camera network with precision AI for trusted data and decisions. There are six different main product that has unique AI models ; Dashcam, Biothermal Camera, Bodycam, Shelfcam, Gateway, and Security Camera. 

The client sought a visually captivating web platform to showcase their product and cutting-edge technology. 

The website needed six primary product pages, each dedicated to introducing distinct products, and 27 sub pages of explanatory pages on their product features and solutions. My role was to organize the content information and visualize them by graphics and icons to effectively showcase the products in the website format.

Given the complex nature of the product and AI technology, the challenge lays in presenting this concept in an easily comprehensible manner. The information needed to be not only user-friendly but also aesthetically pleasing, compelling users to explore and engage with the content.

RESEARCH

I researched other competitive market and to plan web design, I sketched a sitemap to organize the pages into four distinct main menu categories, resulting in a total of 39 sub pages.

I researched and studied their product by reading their product and service description thoroughly. I held several in-person meetings to learn the product and technology with the founder.  I also researched how tech-related product companies display their technology. 

IDEATION

I presented each camera by showcasing specific situations in which they were utilized. I featured all six main products collectively on the initial homepage as collateral pages. 

By sketching out individual page designs, I used Adobe Photoshop to bring these sketches alive, and creating visually striking splash pages that with a realistic quality. I came up with the idea of using the “focus” icon as a symbol to show AI camera sensing the behavior for all product pages. One of the main products, “Dashcam” is sensing the driver’s distracted behavior in the car while the driver is driving on the street with a stop sign.

FINAL DESIGN

Most of the times were spent searching for the right images on stock photo website. 

For example, I researched several different types of drivers, images of a man or hand using the phone, different traffic sings, and streets for background to use in the

“Dashcam” page.

The client wanted to depict a more dramatic scene, with a car driving on the highway instead of local streets, so I switched the sign from “Stop” sign to “Curve” sign on the highway with some motion effect to add a sense of speed of the car that driver is driving.
