Online Promotion Design
BACKGROUND
Blue Travel Agency, established in 1993, is a boutique travel consulting firm provisioning primarily to Korean clients embarking on journeys to European destinations. The agency creates and develop travel/tour contents for customers.
All of their travel services are exclusively available through their online platform. Their main expertise is in Europe, and over time, they have expanded their offerings to include sought-after destinations such as Greece, Australia, the United States, Switzerland, France, Egypt, Turkey, Dubai, Cancun, Canada, and Japan.
CHALLENGE
The Blue Travel Agency already had an English logo, but the Korean logo was outdated, designed back in 1993. The Korean logo needed to be rebranded while retaining the style and look of the current English logo. As the agency was growing larger with more Korean clients and expanding its service coverage to additional countries. They also needed visually captivating graphics for their online marketing materials to enhance customer engagement.
An updated Korean logo should complement the English logo, maintaining the brand identity while also elevating its appeal to the target audience, which is primarily 20-year-olds.The name “Blue" signifies "Blue Sky," "Blue Sea," "Freshness," and "Pureness" for Blue Travel Agency.

Conducted research on both prominent and lesser-known Korean travel agencies in South Korea to analyze the symbols and fonts they employ for brand identity. This research is essential in shaping Blue Travel Agency's brand identity to stand out uniquely among its competitors.

IDEATION & FINAL DESIGN
Compiled keywords associated with "travel" and intangible values that embody Blue Travel Agency to visualize the brand.
The final design chosen for new Korean brand identity. The new meaning of the design is : the “Blue chip of travel”, Blue Travel Agency is a “travel pal” to your trip, a “way finder”.
The client loved the rounded square with rounded serifs, and playful extension of terminals in typeface to symbolizes “road, way, and continuing journey” targeting 20-year-olds free spirit youngsters.
